BOTOX

BOTOX® Cosmetic injections target one of the underlying causes of frown lines and crow’s feet—the repeated muscle contractions from frowning and squinting over the years. Your provider will inject these muscles with BOTOX® Cosmetic to temporarily reduce muscle activity. You will begin to notice a visible smoothing of your crow’s feet lines and frown lines between your brows.
Wrinkles result from a combination of many factors. It’s not just about cellular changes that can occur over time, reduction of collagen, or damage caused by free radicals in the sun and the environment. When you frown or concentrate, the muscles between your brows contract, causing your skin to furrow and fold. And when you squint, the muscles around your eyes contract and cause crow’s feet. BOTOX® Cosmetic works beneath the skin’s surface and targets the underlying muscle activity that causes frown lines and crow’s feet.

DERMAL INJECTIONS

Dermal fillers are a form of cosmetic injections used to restore volume in the face that has been lost due to the effects of aging and sometimes weight loss. As we age the skin becomes thinner, drier and less elastic, collagen diminishes. The layer of fat between the skin and underlying structures is less. Bone resorption occurs, especially in menopausal and postmenopausal women, without the structural support of bone there are noticeable changes in the other layers of overlying skin and fat. Dermal fillers, mostly those made of hyaluronic acid, are used to restore volume and re-inflate areas that are deficient.

CHEMICAL PEELS

A chemical peel or skin peel can be applied separately or in addition to cosmetic injections and involves the application of a specific solution to the surface of the skin to peel away the outermost layers, revealing the fresh skin beneath.
This skin peeling method is used to treat a variety of skin conditions including acne, rosacea, fine wrinkling, blotchy pigmentation, ingrown hairs, yellow complexion and dry skin, the treatment of photoaging (from sun damage), wrinkles, scarring, acne, pre-cancerous lesions, and discoloration (dyschromia) or uneven skin tone.
Chemical peels produce controlled injury to the skin to promote the growth of new skin with an improved appearance.
Healing time is 5-8 days. To ensure results are optimal client’s skin should be adequately prepped with a regimen of skin care products.
